Rae Marie was born February 18, 2009 and weighs about 35 lbs. It was very difficult to put a breed on her and we did the best we could to describe her body type. She's a cute, little, short, thing that has a love everything attitude in life. She's fine with other dogs and cats are cool too. She will need a gentle leader, maybe a harness, because she's not great on leash and she does need to be on one as she has some wanderlust. That is probably what got her here. Dog control showed up at the home and demanded they license her, but they cold not come up with the $10.00 in the time given to make her a legal citizen of the town. Rae Marie LOVES to go for car rides!
Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility.
The Adoption Fee for this dog is $275.00.
Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, a 4.5# bag of Science Diet food, worming & flea control - a 'complete' pet.
Each Joyful Rescues pet has been thrown away at least once. Pets are not disposable just because your life has changed. Before you decide to bring a pet into your home, make absolutely sure that it will be a lifetime commitment. When our pets leave us we want them to go to their forever homes. By adopting a pet you are not only helping the pet you adopt, but also others in or needing to come into rescue.
