I'm Such A Good Boy!
Gizmo Joe was born about May 17, 2006 and weighs about 12 lbs. He's a cutie that has a wonderful disposition and has done well with kids 6 years and up. He's said to be house trained, but I have a hard time promising that these little dogs will never have an accident and some of them benefit from having floor potty pads available for those spur of the moment urges. He is good on leash and does great in the car. He's adorable and will give your home a sense of happiness!!! We cannot remember why he is with us, but the woman was terribly upset and sobbing. Obviously he was loved and something had gone very wrong in her life. We had an event in a nearby city and Gizmo Jo and another little dog were fostered overnight. Here is what the temporary foster mom had to say. 'P.S. Katie the beagle and Gizmo the chihuahua were model house guests, no accidents, good with the baby and just all around good dogs!'
Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility.
The Adoption Fee for this dog is $275.00.
Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, a 4.5# bag of Science Diet food, worming & flea control - a 'complete' pet.
YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A DOG FROM JOYFUL RESCUES
Each Joyful Rescues pet has been thrown away at least once. Pets are not disposable just because your life has changed.
