I'm Gorgeous, Shiny, and Fun! Born around May 14, 2014, Hematite is a very handsome kitten with beautiful coloring. He has longer hair that continues to grow, especially his plumb like tail which has stripes like a raccoon. He has silver smoky hair in areas as well as more distinctive striping in his arms and legs. He loves all the attention he can get and purrs as soon as you pick him up. He loves toys and wrestling with his littermates. He is a very curious kitten who likes to explore but who also likes to get plenty of lap time! He lives with a husky, so adjusting to a dog shouldn't take long at all. He has an especially sweet face that gets him lots of kisses! Hematite and the rest of the Stone Collection came from a nice man and woman who took them in and nursed them from just a few weeks old! They were pleasantly surprised one day when five little black kittens with their eyes barely open climbed in through their ventilation system from underneath their house. The mother had been hit by a car near by and they knew it was up to them to save these kittens' lives. They are very grateful for being saved - and will be even more grateful when they get a home of their own! A cat can live 12-18+ years if cared for properly. Be sure you are able to care for it for its lifetime. The average adoption fee for kittens up to 12 months old is $85. Cats over 12 months old are $75, but may be higher or lower based on their adoptability. All kittens/cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, wormed, treated for fleas and tested negative for FIV/FELV.
