I'm Gorgeous, Shiny, and Fun! Obsidian was born about May 15, 2014 and has been a pleasure to know! This happy, friendly, kitty has gorgeous gold/olive eyes and the faintest striping throughout his shiny black fur! He is the Blackest of the Stone Collection and is pretty much the cuddliest as well. He is already a lap cat in his young age. He loves human attention and loves lounging about. I'm sure he would be perfectly content with a nice cat bed and a human lap. That would be the PERRRRRFECT life for him! Obsidian and the rest of the Stone Collection came from a nice man and woman who took them in and nursed them from just a few weeks old! They were pleasantly surprised one day when five little black kittens with their eyes barely open climbed in through their ventilation system from underneath their house. The mother had been hit by a car near by and they knew it was up to them to save these kittens' lives. They are very grateful for being saved - and will be even more grateful when they get a home of their own! A cat can live 12-18+ years if cared for properly. Be sure you are able to care for it for its lifetime. The average adoption fee for kittens up to 12 months old is $85. Cats over 12 months old are $75, but may be higher or lower based on their adoptability. All kittens/cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, wormed, treated for fleas and tested negative for FIV/FELV. YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A CAT FROM JOYFUL RESCUES We keep our pet list as up-to-date as possible. As soon as a pet is adopted, it is removed from the list.
