Wilbur Morkie was born December 30, 2010 and weighs about 10-15 lbs. or at least looks like he does with all that fluff! If you are concerned about weight, please ask us to weigh them. He is cute beyond words and very human friendly. He's having a ball with the other dogs and did fine on the over an hour car ride here. The story goes that a DCO (dog control officer) took him in when a breeder in her town was going out of business. She didn't really have the time to find them homes so she called us. We are thrilled to have these funny, happy, bouncy, little things and know we can find wonderful homes. They have only lived in a kennel until now and will need house training.
Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility.
The Adoption Fee for this dog is $425.00.
Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, a 4.5# bag of Science Diet food, worming & flea control - a 'complete' pet.
YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A DOG FROM JOYFUL RESCUES
Each Joyful Rescues pet has been thrown away at least once. Pets are not disposable just because your life has changed.
