Anderson was born September 20, 2009 and weighs about 12 lbs. Anderson has been living in a cage in a breeding facility doing his part to help create puppies year after year to line the shelves in pet stores with cute little pups that are sold like a bag of dog food. Anderson is just now experiencing what it is like to walk on grass and is learning the concept of going potty outside and the joy of not having to lay in his own waste until the next day. We are getting this process started, but you will be doing the finishing work. Amazingly, she is friendly and is seeking our touch. Our "man's best friends" don't understand holding grudges and they didn't understand that that wasn't how they were supposed to live. This pretty, very furry boy, needs someone to come along and show him how a dog is really suppose to live. He needs to experience love and devotion which will all be new to him. The Gorham Collection is named after board members in the town of Gorham, NY. We hope that the public out cry will cause them to not allow a 600 dog puppy mill to be created in their town.
Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility.
The Adoption Fee for this dog is $250.00.
Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, a 4.5# bag of Science Diet food, worming & flea control - a "complete" pet.
Each Joyful Rescues pet has been thrown away at least once. Pets are not disposable just because your life has changed. Before you decide to bring a pet into your home, make absolutely sure that it will be a lifetime commitment. When our pets leave us we want them to go to their forever homes. By adopting a pet you are not only helping the pet you adopt, but also others in or needing to come into rescue.
