I Just Need a Little Warm Up Time.... Rubin was born about January 27, 2010 and weighs about 15 lbs. Is he cute or what?!?!?!? This little guy is extremely loving, fun, and funny, but he does need some warm up time and, we feel, an adult home. He's told us that small children screaming, chasing and grabbing at him make him nervous, it does some of us humans too. Rubin is good in a car, wonderful with other dogs, and good with cats. He is with us after being dropped at a high kill shelter by his family as 'unwanted'. How very, very, sad that our domestic pets are treated like last year's Apple product. Oh, like to many small dogs Rubin is going to benefit from having a potty floor pad handy when his tiny self can't wait any longer. Rubin is ready to warm your lap and will be here waiting to hear from you! The Adoption Fee for this dog is $275.00. Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a 'complete' pet. Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility.
