I'm kinda peculiar - In a good way :) Margie was born about May 15, 2010 and is the fattest cat in the kitty house! But she owns it and flaunts her stuff! She is a gorgeous brown tabby which is a little unusual. Margie is outwardly sweet, coming for attention at every potential moment and she will talk back to you with sweet, soft, meows. margie's owner died and the neighbor was involved trying to get help for the 7 cats and 1 horse that were just left there with no regard to their lives or well being. There was some food, but then when the cats ran out of litter they started using the bathtub which I thought was amazingly thoughtful on the cats part, but the neighbor thought it best to toss them outside where they had never been and the temperatures where nearing zero at night. We heard about it and sent food up and the next day we were able to get the kitties and get them to safety. Margie is the quietest and most laid back of all of the Moultons. She is spunky and has her own personality, but likes to save it for when you are paying special attention to her. She isn't as fond of being in your lap as the others are, but she still loves being pet as much as any loving kitty would. She tends to 'Purr Snore' as we like to call it. Its the oddest of sounds when she purrs in her sleep. It's quite adorable. Margie will wait for you to approach her rather than the other way around, but she is still an extremely friendly cat. She gets a little irritated when you rub her belly but she has a wonderful temperament otherwise! She's just Chubby and Jolly! Margie is good with dogs and other cats. The Adoption Fee for this cat is $75.00. Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a 'complete' pet. Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility.
