Natalie was born about December 21, 2009 and weighs about 10 lbs. She has a very pretty face and looks marvelous in stripes, unlike so many of us. If only she could talk, she was found by a neighbor that lives at the tippy top of the mountain behind the main location of Joyful Rescues. It is a one lane, very steep, dirt trail and ends at his place in the middle of the woods. How did this cat get there??? It's a wonder nothing ate her for dinner, but there she was on his porch looking for a meal and warmth. He has one kitty that is not good with other cats so he brought precious Natalie down the hill to us as it turns out she's not good with other cats either. She is a LOVE! She is good in the car and fine with dogs. Amazingly, she was already spayed so someone must have loved her at one time, also evidensed by her loving personality. She is a happy kitty and so glad to be here, but she would love to be loved by a family again. P.S. The last photo is of Natalie visiting Petsmart, guess she needed a softer place to sit.
A cat can live 12-18+ years if cared for properly. Be sure you are able to care for it for its lifetime.
The average adoption fee for kittens is $85 up to six months old. Cats are $75, but may be higher or lower based on their adoptability. All kittens/cats come with a 3.5# bag of Science Diet and are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, wormed, Advantaged and tested negative for FIV/FELV.
Each Joyful Rescues pet has been thrown away at least once. Pets are not disposable just because your life has changed.
