A lovable, big girl!!
Pekoe was born 5/1/10 and has pretty grey tiger patches with lots of white. We were happy we found her - she left her 2 babies on someone's porch and fortunately they were good people. They brought the babies here and then set out to capture mom. It didn't take long because they used yummy treats and Pekoe likes humans. She wasn't very excited about being reunited with her kids, though. In fact she let them know in no uncertain terms that she was done with them and she settled down in a big, comfy box - by herself! Pekoe likes to be #1 and has told us in so many ways that she'd prefer a home with no other cats, and will know she will shower her new owner with tons of love. Miss Pekoe has been dipping into the food bowls a little too often and could use some exercise, but she is a very sweet cat and will make some lucky person very happy.
A cat can live 12-18+ years if cared for properly. Be sure you are able to care for it for its lifetime. The average adoption fee for kittens is $85 up to six months old. Cats are $75, but may be higher or lower based on their adoptability. All kittens/cats come with a 3.5# bag of Science Diet and are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, wormed, Advantaged and tested negative for FIV/FELV.
YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A CAT FROM JOYFUL RESCUES.
