Jude was born about November 12, 2003 and weighs about 10 lbs. She is adorable and has soft, wonderful, hair!!!! She has been released from breeding duties at a puppy mill in central New York where she's been popping out puppies to line pet store shelves while living in a wire bottom cage 24/7. So, Jude will need house training, but she is not as fearful as some mill dogs. Apparently this 'miller' was kinder than some. She is easily handled and responsive to our touch. Emotionally she will come around rather quickly. We can help you with the transition into a normal environment with the notes we've written on the subject. You are welcome to ask for a copy of those ahead if you are interested in showing a mill dog just how wonderful life, outside of a cage in a barn, can be.
The Adoption Fee for this dog is $225.00.
Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a 'complete' pet.
Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility.
